Account

  • Web portal account email address and account name is configured in the web portal, Settings.
  • You must perform an End of Day on all your devices before updating the email address.
  • After you have updated the email address you will need to delete the application data and register each device.

Password Update

  • Web portal password is configured in the web portal, Settings.
  • Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters long with at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase and 1 number.
  • Passwords never expire.

Multifactor Authentication

  • Multifactor Authentication is configured in the web portal, Settings.
  • Download Authy or Google Authenticator for your mobile device.
  • Scan the QR code with the mobile application.
  • Enter the generated one-time password and select enable.

Passkey

  • Passkey is configured in the web portal, Settings.
  • Select Passkey Setup while logged in on your mobile device.
  • Web Authentication, known as WebAuthn or Passkey, eliminates the need for a password.
  • Passkeys are a password replacement that provide faster, easier, and more secure login.

Appointment Book

Appointment Book

If set to on the appointment book functionality will be available including online booking.

Reminder Day

This is the number of days before an appointment to send the reminder message. For example 0 is the day of the appointment and 1 is the day before.

Reminder Time

This is the time of the day to send the reminder message.

Reminder Message

This is the text message that will be sent to the customer. Ensure the message includes your business name. Use APPOINTMENT_DAY_TIME to have the appointment date and time inserted in the message. Use APPOINTMENT_TIME to have the appointment time inserted. Optionally indicate to reply with 1 for automatic appointment confirmation.

Examples:

You have an appointment at Divine Hair Salon on APPOINTMENT_DAY_TIME. Reply with 1 to confirm your appointment.

You have an appointment at Divine Hair Salon today at APPOINTMENT_TIME.

Waitlist

Added to List Message

This is the text message that will be sent to the customer when they are added to the waiting list. Ensure the message includes your business name.

Ready Message

This is the text message that will be sent to the customer when their table or order is ready.

Customer

Billing Address

If set to on the web portal customer page will prompt for billing address information. Receipts will include this billing address if a customer is associated to an order.

Address

If set to on the web portal customer page will prompt for address information. Receipts will include this address if a customer is associated to an order.

Receipt Account Link

If set to on receipts will include a link to the customer account transaction history.

Receipt Account Balance

If set to on receipts will include the customer account balance.

Receipt Account Payment

If set to on receipts will include a link to pay the customer account using online store payments.

Sales Order Payment

If set to on sales orders will include a link to pay the order using online store payments.

Receipt Text Message

This is the text message that will be sent to the customer for receipts sent by SMS.

Sales Order Text Message

This is the text message that will be sent to the customer for sales orders sent by SMS.

PDF Receipt Billing Address

If set a PDF copy of the receipt will be attached to email receipts. This is your business name and address.

PDF Receipt Header

This is a custom message at the top of the PDF receipt.

PDF Receipt Footer

This is a custom message at the bottom of the PDF receipt. You should include your GST/HST/VAT information here.

Customer Points

Points Earned per 1.00

This is the number of points that will be earned for every dollar spent by a customer. You must enable Customer Points in Device Settings for all your devices.

Points Redeemed per 1.00

This is the number of points that will be deducted from a customer points balance for every dollar redeemed. The ratio of earned versus redeemed determines the value that you are giving back to the customer. For example if earned is set to 100 and redeemed is set to 2000 then 100/2000=0.05 or 5%.

Points Earned On Tax

If set to on the points earned will be calculated on the order total including tax. If set to off the order subtotal before tax will be used.

Alternate Gift Cards

Card Number Prefix

If alternate gift cards are used the Card Number Prefix is used to identify a valid gift card number.

Stripe Webhook

Stripe Signing Secret

This credential can be obtained on the Stripe web site in the Developers, Webhooks section and is required to process subscription payments.

BookNet Canada

BookNet Token

This token can be obtained on the BookNet Canada web site and is required to access real-time book information through Biblioshare. Please visit booknetcanada.ca for more information. When requesting a token select the ONIX Web Service and the Image Web Service.
